Welcome to the Nonprofit Law Resource Center. The purpose of the Center is to provide substantive information concerning developing law of interest and concern to nonprofit organizations. Emphasis is placed on the federal tax law concerning tax exemption matters, charitable giving, and fundraising regulation.
One of the features in the Center is a set of current developments outlines. They summarize current developments in the fields of tax exemption law, unrelated business, private foundations, charitable giving, and other developments.

Another feature is a series of summaries of and commentaries on court opinions in the exempt organizations field. This will be an evolving project, focusing initially on the principal and recent cases.

Other features of the Nonprofit Law Resource Center are a listing of the hot issues of the day, an inventory of recent legislation, a summary of articles in The Nonprofit Counsel, and some commentaries by Bruce Hopkins on some of his books.

Other features are being planned for addition to the Center. Comments and suggestions are welcome.
